We all have certain kinds of bad habits. For teenagers, it is very important to get rid of bad habits.

Let's take the habits of talking in class as an example. If we talk in class, we can't listen to the teachers carefully. Of course we can't understand the teachers, and can't finish our homework easily after class. Some students have to copy others' homework when the teachers ask us to hand it in. Then we will get weak in our school lessons and we will become a bad student in the teachers' eyes. Besides, talking in class maybe influences some other students.

So, we must get rid of bad habits at once.

我们都有各种各样的坏习惯。对于青少年来说,改掉这些坏习惯是非常重要的。

让我们以上课说话为例。如果我们上课说话,我们就不能注意听讲,当然不能很好的理解老师所讲的内容,课后就不能轻易完成老师的作业。当老师要求我们交作业时,一些同学不得不去抄袭其他同学的作业。然后我们的功课会变得很差,我们将会变成一个老师眼中的坏学生。不仅如此,在上课说话还会影响其他的学生。

因此,我们必须立刻改掉坏习惯。

Bad habits start growing on almost every one of us without being noticed. Once we realize the bad habits or once they are pointed out to us, it is a wise decision that we get rid of them immediately. But to get rid of a bad habit is not as easy a thing as we sometimes think. Here is how:

To get rid of a bad habit, it is important that we first get to know how harmful the habit really is. Take the habit of smoking as an example. Obviously, smoking is harmful to one's health. It can result in lung cancer and heart attack. Besides, smoking is a waste of money. A heavy smoker spends almost as much money a day as he pays for his own meals. So if he can realize the danger and waste, it is likely that he may stop smoking at once. To get rid of a bad habit, it is essential that we also have a strong will. Let's again take the habit of smoking for example. Many smokers pick up the habit again soon after they give it up. A lot of them cannot tell how many times they have attempted to give up smoking and how many times they have failed to do so. Therefore, it is impossible to get rid of any bad habit if we change our minds constantly.

Although it is not so easy to get rid of a bad habit, many people have succeeded in doing so, setting us good models. We should learn from these models and go out of our way to do away with our bad habits, whatever it takes.

坏习惯在我们每个人几乎都没有注意到的时候成长起来的。一旦我们认识到坏习惯或一旦他们向我们指出,我们立即改掉是一个明智的决定。但要改掉一个坏习惯是不容易的事。下面是改掉坏习惯的方法:

要改掉一个坏习惯,是我们首先要知道确实是有害的习惯是很重要的。以吸烟为例。很明显,吸烟对人的健康是有害的。它可以导致肺癌和心脏病发作。同时,吸烟很浪费钱。一个烟鬼每天花几乎跟他的吃一样多的钱。所以如果他们能意识到危险和浪费,他可能会立即停止吸烟。要改掉一个坏习惯,我们要有一个坚强的意志。让我们再以吸烟的习惯为例子。许多吸烟者戒掉烟以后又拿起了。很多人不知道有多少次试图戒烟,也不知道有多少次失败了。因此,我们不断地改变我们的意志是不可能成功地改掉坏习惯的。

虽然不是那么容易改掉一个坏习惯,许多人这样做成功了,我们设定好模范。无论发生什么,我们应该学习这些模范和不厌其烦地摆脱我们的坏习惯。
